This Wednesday, France will experience a new episode of mildness despite the rain, in the northwest at the start of the day until the eastern regions of France in the evening.

On the massifs, it will snow around 1,500 m on the Alps and the Pyrenees.

The sun will resist well on the extreme south east of the country.

The weather Wednesday will be partly rainy.

After circulating in the northwest of the country overnight, with sometimes heavy rain and fairly strong southwesterly winds, a new disturbance will cross most of the regions, according to Météo-France forecasts.

In the morning, the overcast weather with widespread rain will stretch from the south of Aquitaine and the Pyrenees to the Grand-Est and Franche-Comté, reaching Rhône-Alpes before midday.

The rains will be heavy at times.

On the massifs, it will snow from 1,200 to 1,300 m altitude in the Vosges and the Jura, then around 900/1,000 m at the end of the day, around 1,500 m in the Alps and the Pyrenees.

In the northwest, from the English Channel and the Hauts-de-France to the north of Aquitaine, the weather will become more variable again from the morning, with beautiful clearings, a few clouds and rare showers.

Up to 18°C ​​around the Mediterranean

But from midday on Brittany and near the Channel, the clouds will become numerous again and will give showers, more and more frequent and marked from Normandy to Hauts-de-France at the end of the afternoon.

The southwest wind will strengthen again near the Channel and on the coast of Brittany, with gusts up to 70 to 80 km / h, even 90 km / h on the coast.

On the other hand, the Mediterranean rim will maintain dry and generally sunny weather, but the tramontana and the westerly wind will pick up with peaks at 70/80 km/h.

Minimum temperatures will range from 2 to 7 degrees in the east of the country, from 5 to 11 degrees in the English Channel and Hauts-de-France to the north of Aquitaine as well as on the Mediterranean coast.

In the afternoon, we will expect 12 to 16 degrees from the Vendée and the Aquitaine coast to the Pyrenees, 13 to 18 degrees around the Mediterranean, 9 to 13 degrees elsewhere.
