The UAE welcomed the launch of the final phase of the political process in Sudan, which leads to a civilian-led government, in a way that enhances the stability and prosperity of the sisterly state of Sudan, expressing its wishes for success and repayment for the Sudanese components in their upcoming journey to complete the transitional phase.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation appreciated the efforts of the members of the tripartite mechanism group, represented by the UN mission in Sudan, the African Union and IGAD, and the success in building and strengthening consensus among the actors, in order to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly people of Sudan for stability, development and prosperity.

The ministry indicated the UAE's keenness to deepen and expand the horizons of cooperation with Sudan, and push it forward in all fields, in order to strengthen the bonds of strong relations that bind our two brotherly countries and peoples.

The ministry affirmed the UAE's keenness on a peaceful and successful political transition in brotherly Sudan, in a way that enhances its stability and returns prosperity, prosperity and development to its people.

On the other hand, the President of the Republic of South Korea, Yoon Sok Yul, is making a state visit to the UAE, which begins next Saturday and lasts for several days.

During the visit, the Korean President will meet His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, where they will discuss the friendship between the two countries, and opportunities for developing cooperation and joint action within the framework of the special strategic partnership that brings the two countries together.

The two sides will also discuss regional and international issues of common interest.

Yoon Seok Yul is attending the World Future Energy Summit, which is being held as part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, as well as meeting a number of state officials and visiting some strategic development projects.
