Málaga Arrested in Estepona after stabbing his ex-partner eight times in the back
The man who tried to end the life of his former sentimental partner last December in Estepona, stabbing him eight times in front of his two underage daughters,
took his own life this Tuesday
in the Alhaurín de la Torre prison ( Málaga), where he had entered after this incident.
The inmate had been present at the
morning count that takes place at 8 am
each day, but prison officials found him hanged in his cell half an hour later.
He had ended his life by hanging himself with shoelaces.
The inmate was alone because his partner had left
prison to run some errands
and he took advantage of that moment of privacy that the situation afforded him to commit suicide.
48 years old, he had been released from prison last November and did not accept the separation from his ex-partner with whom he had two daughters in common, aged 12 and 17.
It was precisely
the oldest of them
that prevented her from achieving her goal and ending her mother on the day of the attack by interposing herself between her and her father.
The events that led him back to jail occurred on the night of December 19 when the now-deceased man waited for the victim at the doorway of the home where she lived with her daughters and
managed to access the property
behind her.
Once inside her, he took out a knife that he carried in his pocket and stabbed her
eight times
in the back that almost ended her life before the anguished gaze of the minors.
