From our correspondent in Moscow,

“

We are against the dehumanization and trivialization of the dead.

It begins when people's lives turn into a dry number, that of 89 during a briefing by the army spokesman.

 »

These few lines were signed this January 10 in the morning by 49,140 people, according to a last count, all from the same region as

the deceased mobilized

, all being dismissed at midday.

"

No list will be published

,

" said Aleksey Vdovin, the region's military commissioner.

Military commissariats and their employees provide all personal information directly to soldiers' families or upon their request.

But there can be no public communication, because on the one hand it is personal data, and on the other hand it is obviously important information for foreign intelligence services, which could be useful to them for provocations against relatives of soldiers.

It is therefore strictly prohibited.

The petition in question also mentions the remarks made by certain war correspondents on their Telegram channel, crying out for the strike due to the serious fault of military commanders, who considered “

the number of people killed underestimated

”.

Asked last December at a press conference to know who to believe, army spokespersons or military correspondents, Vladimir Putin then replied with this ironic formula: "

You should not believe anyone, except me
