The Palestinian security services forcibly dispersed a protest sit-in in the city center of Nablus, demanding the release of the imprisoned stalker, Musab Shtayyeh, one of the prominent activists in the "Black's Den" groups and his comrades detained by the Palestinian Authority.

The photos published by the activists showed that the Palestinian security forces threw gas bombs to disperse the protesters, and eyewitnesses said that the security forces arrested two during the dispersal of the vigil.

The investigation of "What is Hidden is Greater", which was shown on Al-Jazeera screen last Friday, showed an exclusive leaked letter in the handwriting of detainee Musab Shtayyeh, in which he complained of the bitter conditions of his detention and the severity of his illness 4 months ago in prison, and demanded his speedy release.

In turn, a Palestinian security source said in a statement that reached Anadolu Agency: "In order to preserve civil peace and prevent chaos, the security services dealt with a gathering at the Martyrs' Roundabout in the center of Nablus, which came after calls from unknown sources, and without obtaining approval from the competent security authorities."

The source added, "In order to preserve security and order and avoid chaos and vandalism, the security services dealt with the gathering from the beginning, by verbally warning, negotiating, and asking more than once to vacate the street."

And he added, "We were not listening, and the participants did not respond to the security call, which forced them to deal and disperse the gathering without any injury."

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and activists in the West Bank say that the Palestinian security forces are arresting a number of Palestinians because of their political affiliation and resistance to the Israeli occupation, which the security services in the West Bank deny.

More than once, the Palestinian Authority denied, through politicians and security officials, the presence of any political detainees in its prisons.
