Virginie Girod SEASON 2022 - 202305h00, January 10, 2023

Listen to the continuation of the story of Leni Riefenstahl, the greatest propaganda filmmaker of the Third Reich, told by historian Virginie Girod, in an unpublished story in two episodes.

In 1935, when she already had several achievements made at the request of Adolf Hitler to her credit, Leni Riefenstahl was preparing to make a film about the Berlin Olympics which were being prepared.

But for that, she wants to collaborate with a certain Willy Zielke, a great filmmaker too, but who has already been twice censored by the Reich.

Leni Riefenstahl then decides to organize a film screening in the presence of Willy Zielke and Joseph Goebbels, the Minister of People's Education and Propaganda of the Third Reich.

When the war ends, the question of judging Leni Riefenstahl will arise... This story is a Europe 1 Studio production.
