Finally, the Ministry of Education implemented an integrated guidance program on the mechanisms and procedures for registration in higher education institutions and external scholarships for the academic year 2023-2024, in cooperation with higher education institutions and the Department of External Scholarships, based on the importance of educating 12th grade students and ensuring their readiness for university education.
The Ministry stated that higher education institutions and foreign scholarships provide an opportunity for 12th grade students to pursue their education at their expense, for male and female national students for the academic year (2022-2023), in order to pursue higher education within the country or apply for a scholarship to study outside the country for the next academic year 2023. -2024.
The Ministry called on the 12th grade students for the academic year 2022-2023, to learn about the specializations available in scholarships, its advantages, and all requirements and conditions for admission to scholarships, through 10 counseling meetings organized by the Student Registration Department in foreign missions for male and female students distributed across the emirates of the country according to a schedule set by it. The Ministry, in addition to holding 12 indicative meetings on how to enroll in higher education institutions, with the participation of elite universities in the country, including the UAE University, Zayed University, Sorbonne University, the American University in more than one emirate, Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute, ADNOC Academy, Higher Colleges of Technology and Fatima College of Health Sciences. and Khalifa University.
In turn, the Ministry of Education opened the registration door for 12th grade students for the current academic year 2022-2023, for the first semester of the academic year 2023-2024 in higher education institutions and foreign scholarships, during last November and continues until March 31, 2023, and the registration service in higher education institutions targets students Citizens and sons of citizen women enrolled in the 12th grade or 13th year of the current year to enroll in higher education institutions included in the unified national registration system or in the foreign scholarship system at the expense of the Ministry of Education allocated to national students only.

During the final admission period, the student must present a certificate of completion of the Arabic language course for Arabic speakers and the Islamic education course for all Muslim students of private schools inside the country for the tenth, 11th and 12th grades. The certificates of students studying in the non-ministerial curriculum inside the country must be attested by the educational authority, in addition to an equivalence certificate. General secondary school (12th grade), attestation of the final 12th grade certificate for students studying outside the country from the UAE embassy, and equivalency of the 12th grade certificate issued by the UAE Ministry of Education.
