An Indian plane leaves for its destination, forgetting 50 passengers at the airport

India's aviation regulator has asked local airline GoFirst to report on how more than 50 passengers on a bus were left at the runway in Bangalore during their flight to Delhi.

About 55 passengers were stranded in the bus early Monday morning as their G8-116 flight departed due to some miscommunication between the ground crew and the flight crew, New Delhi TV news reported.

The passengers had their boarding passes and their baggage transfer tags, which were carried on the original flight, while the passengers did not leave.

On the other hand, a spokesman for the "Go First" company said that the investigation is underway regarding the incident.

He said there were 53 passengers who were transferred on a later flight of a different airline, while two of the passengers opted for a flight refund.

The Times of India reported that the passengers were hosted on another flight to Delhi about four hours later.
