We meet in Sätra.

The district in Gävle that was hit by a fatal shooting as recently as the beginning of November.

There, three teenagers are being held on suspicion of murder.

The youngest person is 15 years old.

It is one of three murders in Gästrikland since the end of October.

- Linked to what happened, I think that there are young people who do not choose to be outdoors because they feel afraid or insecure, says Jonas Bentzer, field assistant at the social service in Gävle.

"We come further apart"

He is Gävle's most experienced field assistant.

For twelve years he has worked with outreach activities - he meets children and young people and wants to help them.

But over the years, something has changed - and made work more difficult for Jonas Bentzer.

A culture of silence exists among young people.

- We are further apart, me as an authority and them as citizens.

They think: You can't trust those people, you can't talk to them.

They put us there, they just laugh, says Jonas Bentzer.
