She described the face of her attacker to the police who released her sketch.
On January 5, an off-duty policeman walking his dog crossed paths with a man whose description matched the girl's attacker.
After alerting his colleagues, the police arrested the suspect who admitted the facts in police custody.
He was indicted and imprisoned in the Nantes remand center.

“While he was walking with his dog, Christophe, 54, crossed paths with a man suspected of having raped a 13-year-old girl on December 20 in Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique).
The young girl was walking on the way to the customs officers when she was sexually assaulted, around noon, by a man who threatened her with a knife.
Rescued by two people, the victim then described the face of her rapist to the police who drew her sketch and hung it in the police station.
By reflex, this experienced brigadier, who has worked at night for 21 years, took a photo of him.

On January 5, while he was walking with his dog on a small path, he saw a man with strange behavior, who seemed to be following a young woman.

He alerts the police station then approaches the suspect.

The man complies and follows him to the road, a little higher, where the police have parked and come to arrest him.

He claims to use it for a picnic, which the police doubt.
The 30-year-old man, unknown to the police, was then arrested for carrying an illegal weapon.
Placed in police custody, the suspect was questioned about the rape of the teenager and ended up admitting the facts.
He was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention at the Nantes remand center.
A judicial inquiry has been opened.
