When moving to 1,300 municipalities, a maximum of 3 million yen is provided to each household, and if children are also moving together, an additional 300,000 yen per child is added.



The government plans to increase the additional payment per child to 1 million yen from the new fiscal year in order to further encourage young people and families with children to move to rural areas for regional revitalization.



If you meet the conditions such as working at a small or medium-sized company where you are moving to, continuing your current job by teleworking, and intending to continue living in your new location for 5 years or more, you can apply for support money from the municipality where you are moving to. .



In the "Comprehensive Strategy for Digital Garden City National Concept" approved by the Cabinet last month, the government has set a goal of increasing the number of migrants from the Tokyo metropolitan area and three prefectures to rural areas to 10,000 per year in five years.
