“Against the backdrop of what is happening in Brazil, Mexico expresses its full support for the presidential government, chosen by the will of the people,” the diplomat wrote on his Twitter.
He also noted that the Mexican authorities do not accept any attacks on the "democratic institutions of the fraternal people."
Earlier, Argentine President Alberto Fernandez called the unrest in Brazil an attempted coup.
