According to the head of Finnish diplomacy, the countries will complete the process of joining the alliance together.

On December 6, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar stressed that Sweden and Finland had still not fulfilled their commitments to join NATO.

He noted that Ankara will ratify their entry into the alliance only after the fulfillment of the obligations undertaken by these countries.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stressed that Sweden has not taken concrete steps to extradite to Turkey those whom Ankara considers involved in terrorism.
