German police have arrested an Iranian citizen who is suspected of preparing an

Islamist-motivated attack

, in Castrop-Rauxel, in the west of the country.

The 32-year-old man

had managed to obtain various dangerous chemical and biological substances, cyanide and ricin

, to prepare the attack, the Düsseldorf prosecutor's office reported this Sunday.
