[Explanation] The Spring Festival is approaching. In order to meet the needs of people in Kinmen and Matsu to return home during the Lunar New Year, from January 7th to February 6th, the cross-strait "three small links" passenger routes that have been suspended for nearly three years have been partially resumed.

Among them, the Xiamen-Kinmen passenger route was the first to resume navigation on the 7th.

[Explanation] The Xiamen-Kinmen route is operated by passenger ships on both sides of the Taiwan Strait in turn, and there is one round-trip flight every day. Taiwanese citizens with household registrations in the Kinmen area, their spouses, and children can register in advance to make an appointment to board the ship.

If you go via Taipei (return to Kinmen), it will cost more than 5,000 RMB, but now (through the "miniature three links") to go back (Kinmen) is only 130 (RMB).

We waited for three years to finally be able to go back and reunite with everyone, and especially at this time of the Chinese New Year, we can have such a good opportunity, I am really grateful to everyone.

[Explanation] Lin Bihua, who is engaged in the cultural and creative industry in Xiamen, is 72 years old this year and has not been home for three years. Today, she specially brought the cultural and creative products designed by herself as gifts to her family in Kinmen.

It is hoped that the ("miniature three links") will be normalized and the convenient "miniature three links" will be opened as soon as possible, so that Taiwanese businessmen, Taiwan compatriots, and Taiwanese youth who can be here can enjoy such a right (convenience).

[Explanation] It is reported that since the opening of the Xiamen-Jinjiang route and the two-Malaysia route on January 2, 2001, the "miniature three links" have witnessed the continuous and close exchanges between the two sides of the strait.

As of February 9, 2020, it has carried more than 22 million passengers.
