It was during the night of New Year's Eve that an explosive device detonated in a gate to an apartment building in Rågsved.
No one was injured in the explosion, but residents had to be evacuated.
On Thursday, the police were able to arrest an 18-year-old man and on Saturday he was detained on probable cause on suspicion of involvement in the crime.
The man has previously been convicted of a number of different crimes, including robbery, assault, weapons offenses and drug offences.
He has also been placed in a HVB home as a result of his criminal lifestyle and addiction.
In the LVU verdict concerning the placement, it also appears that he has been exploited by older criminals.
The man is from the Stockholm area and he is suspected of public destruction.
- My client denies any crime, that's all I can say, says the man's lawyer Hans Larsson.
