A couple who recorded a 'hole-in-one' on the same day and in the same hole was born.

On the 3rd local time, the New Zealand Herald and Golf Digest reported that a New Zealand couple made consecutive holes-in-one during a round at a local golf club on January 1, 2023.

"Her husband hit the ball and it ran well towards her flag," said her wife, Keiko. "I kept my eye on her, and a miracle happened." 's hole-in-one moment.

Of her own ball that rose high, unlike her husband's, Keiko said, "I didn't really know where it went. I usually go sideways, but today it went straight and landed on the green. Then it rolled towards her flag." explained the circumstances that led to the hole-in-one.

A young man who witnessed Keiko's hole-in-one moment while playing behind the couple cheered, and her husband Steve said, "Both shots we made were fantastic."

Steve also said, “I felt very comfortable when I hit the ball,” and “I don’t know if my friends will believe our couple record.”

Steve, who said he would not specifically commemorate the hole-in-one, added, "I don't think we made history. Still, I'm sure he enjoyed that moment he and his wife shared."

The couple, who declined to publish their photos, were delighted, saying, "Since we hit a hole-in-one starting from the New Year, everything will work out this year."

On the day, Steve finished six holes with his lowest score of 46, while Keiko finished with 51.

The general manager of a local golf club said, "On average, there are about 20 hole-in-ones a year. But it is the first time that two holes-in-ones have been made on the same day on the same hole. It's really great for a couple to hit a hole-in-one together."

In addition, the golf club said that the method of commemorating the consecutive hole-in-one will be decided after further discussion, and a record certificate and trophy will be awarded.
