This name probably means nothing to you, but the Chinese manufacturer Zeekr, a brand of the Geely group, therefore a cousin of Volvo, Polestar and Lynk & Co among others, plans to market its cars in Europe this year.

Starting with the 001, a model sold in China since 2001 with the choice between two battery packs: 86 kWh or 100 kWh.

For its arrival on the Old Continent, this electric shooting brake will carry a new 140 kWh pack, enough to increase its range to 1,000 km!

Please note that this is according to the Chinese CLTP standard, about as optimistic as our old NEDC standards were.

120 km in 5 minutes

Another impressive figure: the charging capacity of 360 kW.

Enough to recharge 120 km in just 5 minutes on a high power terminal.

And on the performance side, this Zeekr 001 is not to be outdone since its 544 hp allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
