It is noted that the build-up of the regional grouping of troops takes place within the framework of ensuring the military security of the Union State.

Also, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus Andrei Zhuk announced the readiness of the joint Russian-Belarusian regional group of troops to defend the Union State.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the 230th combined-arms training ground Obuz-Lesnovsky, where, among other things, the Russian part of the joint group of troops is located.
