Pushkov called relations between Russia and the West a "big gap"

“The current state of the“ big gap ”of the entire amount of relations between the West and Russia did not exist even at the moments of extreme aggravation of the situation during the years of the Cold War,” Pushkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the course of the United States and its allies in relation to Russia at the moment is much worse than during the Cold War.

He noted that Washington is waging an "ice war" against Moscow.

On December 1, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that NATO had returned to Cold War priorities and wanted to keep the Russians out of Europe.
