Following a serious road accident, Frida Kahlo's life is turned upside down.
Bedridden for several months, she devoted her time to painting, which she began to see as a means of expressing her pain.
She begins a relationship with Diego Rivera, a mural painter, but he soon cheats on her with her sister.
Meanwhile, Frida Kahlo tried to present her works in American galleries, but her avant-garde paintings on abortion and childbirth were poorly received.
Indeed, hurt by Diego Rivera, her paintings are becoming more and more feminist… How will she manage to make a name for herself?
