After sending several threatening messages to his wife, the individual went to the home of a person with whom his companion had spent New Year's Eve.

The latter had already left, however, which did not prevent the man from pounding on the door.

He then doused the tenant of the premises with gasoline before fleeing.

Tried on Tuesday as part of an appearance on prior admission of guilt, the individual was sentenced to eleven months in prison, three of which were suspended on probation.

He was imprisoned in the process, specifies the daily.
