The Firefighters of the Community of Madrid have been forced on Tuesday afternoon to evacuate a new building in Plaza Fuente del Trébol in San Fernando de Henares.

In this case,

number 8, which had non-structural cracks, but which has forced 52 residents to leave their homes

until the Community of Madrid assesses the final damage to the properties on Wednesday.

The damages, for the moment, are the misalignment of some doors of the buildings in the absence of the technicians of the General Directorate of Infrastructures of the Ministry of Transport to evaluate the building more accurately.

But this is

a new setback for the residents of this town in the east of Madrid

who, since 2007, have seen their lives affected by the problems of Metro Line 7B, which has led the regional government to remove several hundred residents from their homes. in this period.

The technicians carried out auscultation work on the Fuente del Trébol square on Tuesday morning and, according to their criteria, "the buildings are stable after the work of consolidating the ground by injecting concrete under the area" but they are waiting for a reassessment after notice from the Fire Department.

These same consolidation works were already started by the General Directorate of Infrastructures on October 13 in Rafael Alberti, Presa, Pablo Olavide, Francisco Sabatini and Nazario Calonge streets to try to reverse the problem.

But these continue and the complaints from the neighbors, with whom the Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso is meeting to try to find an economic solution, do not stop.
