It was around eleven o'clock on Tuesday morning that a car on county road 503 went off the road and overturned.
The road was closed during the rescue work and a woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
During the evening, the police reported that the woman later died and relatives have been notified.
The car has been impounded for a technical examination and the police will investigate the cause of the accident.
