The immense needs of the army
Last June, defense companies moved to 24-hour operation with teams rotating in eight-hour shifts.
The aim is to continue to meet the huge needs of the Russian army, as materiel losses mount and some analysts have suggested for months that it could soon run out of shells and cruise missiles. .

In September then, the employees of these companies had been exempted from the
partial mobilization
triggered in the country.
And at the same time, a law prohibited Russian companies from refusing state defense orders.
The announcement made on January 3 is part of this continuity.
