The police opened a case after the incident with the horses that ran into the crowd in St. Petersburg

The police found that a man passing by the carriage provoked the movement of the cart towards pedestrians by his actions.

As a result, three people were injured, including two children.

In connection with the actions of the man who provoked the incident, a case was initiated under Art.

267.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia (actions that threaten the safe operation of vehicles).

It is noted that steps have been taken to search for the suspect.

It is also reported that the driver of the carriage, a 38-year-old woman, fled the scene.

Subsequently, she was detained, she was found to have signs of intoxication.
