The shop in the village of Plassen is located one mile from the Swedish border at the height of Rörbäcksnäs in Dalarna, and during the last year has received both municipal and state electricity support.

Electricity prices are roughly as high in Norway as in Sweden.

- We paid SEK 200,000 for electricity last year and have received support since March of approximately SEK 70,000.

So a third, says Kristine Singstad Österhaug.

Swedish companies are waiting

At the same time, the colleagues in Sweden have not received any money at all.

New announcements about electricity support for the Swedish companies are expected during this week.

- There are shops right here on the Swedish side of the border in both Rörbäcksnäs and Långflon.

We can only hope that they also get power support soon, says Kristine Singstad Österhaug.
