Manturov recalled that Nissan recently decided to transfer its Russian assets to NAMI.

“NAMI, in turn, transfers these shares to AvtoVAZ for the subsequent launch of the production of Lada cars in cooperation with foreign manufacturers at the site in St. Petersburg,” the Deputy Prime Minister said in an interview with RBC.

On December 9, it became known that the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg will resume production under the control of AvtoVAZ.

In November, FSUE NAMI acquired all the Russian assets of the Japanese automobile concern Nissan, including the plant in St. Petersburg.
