In Västerbotten County, the development was the opposite.

Bankruptcies decreased by 9 percent compared to the previous year.

This is evident from up-to-date statistics from the credit information company Syna.

More limited companies

More limited liability companies were also formed in Västerbotten.

The increase was 2 percent in Västerbotten during the past year.

In the whole country, the number of new limited companies fell by 4 percent.


- Those who start limited companies often tend to invest more and long-term in their business.

With more new limited companies, the municipalities in Västerbotten gain access to both potential job creators and tax revenue, says Boo Gunnarson, business expert at Visma Spcs in a press release.
