Partners since 1921, the two Italian brands began developing this Giulia SWB Zagato two years ago.

Based on a modern Alfa Romeo Giulia, this unique coupé takes up the recipe of the 1961 Alfa Romeo SZ Codatronca with its truncated rear part.

The Giulia therefore loses its rear doors and trunk, and the design has been completely redesigned by Zagato with a double-humped roof, a rounded rear window and a rear light signature that is reminiscent of that of Aston Martin (another partner history of Zagato) and the Maserati 3200 GT.

German customer

The passenger compartment, on the other hand, is taken from the Giulia as is, except for a few details.

The engine is that of the Giulia GTAm: a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 with 540 hp.

This power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.

This unique model has already been sold to a loyal German customer who owns several vintage Alfa Romeos.

There won't be another.
