A car in which four women had taken place came off the road late Saturday afternoon in Vielmur-sur-Agout (Tarn).

The car hit a plane tree.

Three of the occupants, aged 20 to 21, were seriously injured in the shock, reports Actu Toulouse.

Two of them were airlifted to the Purpan hospital in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne).

The third was taken to the hospital in Castres (Tarn).

The rescuers who took care of the victims at the scene of the accident described the condition of these three young women as “absolute emergency”.

The fourth occupant of the car, aged 18, was more lightly affected.

A major rescue operation was organized to help the victims.

Car traffic was interrupted on the main road where the collision with the tree took place, the RD92.

A diversion had to be put in place to allow traffic to continue.
