New Israeli Foreign Minister Cohen announced plans to talk with Lavrov on January 3

“Tomorrow I am expected to speak with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Cohen added that after the conversation with Lavrov, he also intends to talk with foreign ministers of European countries.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Moscow is counting on the government of Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel to promote the development of traditional partnerships with Russia.
