Norway is the country in the world with the highest concentration of electric cars.

Currently, no less than 20% of the vehicle fleet is electric and 80% of new cars sold last year were BEVs (battery electric vehicles).

A Scandinavian specificity which has prompted Hyundai to only market 100% electric models, abandoning hybrid propulsion in the process.

Four models

It must be said that the Korean manufacturer no longer marketed any fully thermal models in Norway, focusing on hybrids and electrics.

These will therefore be the only ones offered in showrooms, with the choice between the Ioniq 5, the Ioniq 6, the Kona Electric and the Nexo (hydrogen and fuel cell.)
