The “distribution” company concerned with printing and distributing books had addressed the schools earlier, specifying the dates for delivering the books, so that they would be ready with the first day of the second semester.
The Emirates Education Foundation had asked school administrations to review the numbers of students and classes to be able to print books in numbers that do not exceed or decrease than required in each public school, taking into account the percentage of reserve books that are printed to cover the margin of change that may occur in schools as a result of transferring students.
The timetable for the second semester (the academic calendar) showed that the number of school days in the same semester is 55 days, starting on the second of January and ending on Friday, corresponding to the 24th of next March, including the time period for the second semester exam, which starts on the 20th of March.
