Other Russian Guardsmen who distinguished themselves in battles were awarded Zhukov medals.

In December, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented state awards in the Kremlin to Acting Heads of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin, as well as Acting Heads of Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions Yevgeny Balitsky and Vladimir Saldo.
