“On January 1, around 8:50, in the courtyard of house number 6 ... a Kia Rio car hit a 34-year-old woman and her two young children living in a neighboring house,” RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the State University Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
As a result of the accident, the woman received a broken leg, her three-year-old son was in intensive care with severe injuries, and a five-year-old girl died on the spot.
Earlier it became known that a driver hit a woman with three children at a pedestrian crossing in Krasnodar, two children died, and two more were disabled.
