The Times reported that about half of Britons believe that Prince Harry should be stripped of his royal title, after Netflix episodes about him and his wife Megan were broadcast, in which he directed great criticism of the popular press and members of the royal family.

The newspaper said that the opinion poll conducted by the international company "YouGov" - based in Britain - revealed that 44% of its participants stressed the necessity of stripping Harry of his princely title, while 32% saw the opposite.

The poll also highlighted that the Netflix series showed more sympathy for Princess Catherine Middleton and her husband, Prince William (44%), compared to Princess Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry (17%).

The survey also showed that 23% confirmed that the Netflix episodes made them think negatively about Harry and Megan, compared to only 7% who said that these episodes made them understand the story of the two princes positively.

On the other hand, the poll revealed that 65% said they believed that Harry and Megan chose of their own free will to leave life with the royal family in Britain and go to live in the United States, while only 11% confirmed that the couple were forced to make that decision.

We were thrown to the wolves.

The couple had confirmed in Netflix episodes that they had been "thrown to the wolves", accusing the British royal family of "lying to protect" Crown Prince William.

In the first three episodes of the series "Harry and Megan," the couple focused on the harassment of the British tabloids, and on the way the palace dealt with the issue of racism.

"Not only were they thrown to the wolves, they were used to feed the wolves," Meghan Markle said in a promotional advertisement for the rings.

For his part, Prince Harry said, "They find it natural to lie to protect my brother (William), but they were not ready to tell the truth to protect us (Meghan and I)."
