Venezuelan opposition votes to end Guaido's 'interim government'

According to RIA Novosti with reference to Figueredo, 72 people were in favor of the liquidation, 29 voted against, eight abstained.

Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that the Venezuelan opposition plans to remove Juan Guaido from the post of "interim head of state."

The agency estimates that this will put an end to US efforts to oust Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

In January, Russian Ambassador to Venezuela Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov noted that many of his supporters were disillusioned with the policies of the Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido.
