“We call on Baku and Yerevan to strictly comply with all the provisions of the Statement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020,” the statement says.

The Russian side emphasized that the Lachin corridor should be used only for the purposes indicated in this document.

“We expect that the parties will come to agreements regarding the development of ore deposits in the region,” the Russian Foreign Ministry added.

Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh are doing everything to ensure order.

Also, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian peacekeepers continue negotiations with Armenia and Azerbaijan on the resumption of traffic along the Lachin corridor.
