“On December 29, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation delivered a massive strike with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons on the military command and control system and energy facilities that ensured the operation of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine,” the ministry said in a statement.
It is noted that the goal of the strike has been achieved, all designated objects have been hit.
“As a result of the strike, the production and repair of military equipment and ammunition was stopped, as well as the transfer of reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the western regions of Ukraine.
As a result of the violation of railway transportation, foreign weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine are blocked in the rear areas, ”the ministry notes.
Earlier it was reported that the air defense forces of Belarus shot down a Ukrainian S-300 missile.
Its fragments were found in an agricultural field near the village of Gorbakha, Ivanovo district, Brest region.
