“On December 30, as a result of artillery shelling by the armed formations of Ukraine in Donetsk, the DPR, Deputy Head of the Control and Investigation Department of the Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Joint Grouping of Troops (Forces), Lieutenant Colonel of Justice Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Rybakov, was killed,” the report says.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of Rybakov's death.

The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased and instructed to provide full support to his family.

Earlier it was reported that Russian military investigators visited more than a hundred places of possible crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the NVO zone.
