Biden wrote off the conviction of an American woman who shot her husband who beat her

"Today, President Joseph R. Biden granted full pardons to six individuals," the White House said in a statement.

The other five were convicted of minor drug offenses.

When she was 33 years old, she was pregnant and shot her husband, who beat her.

The woman was then sentenced to imprisonment for a term of one to five years, but it is not specified how long she spent in prison.
