With its air penetration coefficient (Cx) of 0.23 and its clean lines, this new electric SUV from the Chinese manufacturer Nio looks great.

Equipped with two electric motors with a combined power of 655 hp and 855 Nm of torque, it is able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

But it is above all its autonomy that challenges: 965 km with the largest battery pack (100 kWh).

Very fast charging

The other particularity of the Nio EC7 is to be able to quickly and easily exchange its empty battery for a full one in the appropriate charging stations.

That said, with fast charging capability at 500 kWh, it only takes 20 minutes to go from 10 to 80 percent charge, so there's no need to rely on swap stations.

Nio has not yet announced whether it will market this model in Europe.
