Sandu said that Moldova does not currently maintain relations with the leadership of Russia

According to her, when her Action and Solidarity party participated in the elections, it spoke in favor of developing relations with Russia.

“But now relations with the leadership of Russia at all levels have been terminated,” RIA Novosti quotes her.

Sandu cited the situation in Ukraine as the reason for this.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the West was drawing Moldova into an anti-Russian campaign, by analogy with Ukraine.
