As every year, part of the public transport network in the Paris region will operate throughout the night of New Year's Eve.

But which ?

Six of the sixteen lines of the Paris metro (1, 2, 5, 6, 9 and 14) will run all night, even if not all stations will be served.

The other lines will remain open as every Saturday until 2:00 a.m., and will reopen on Sunday from 5:30 a.m.

Free from 5 p.m. to noon

The situation is a little more complicated for RER and suburban trains: lines A and B will run all night in both directions, while trains – more or less rare – will run between Paris and the suburbs only on certain sections of the lines C, D, H, J, L, N, P, R and T4.

Night buses will operate as a typical weekend night.

Transport will be free from Saturday 5 p.m. to Sunday noon.

Details of the device are presented on the IDFM website.
