“During the New Year holidays, measures are envisaged to increase the speed of inspection of cars along the Crimean bridge,” RIA Novosti reported.
In particular, in the period from December 29 to 31, the number of employees and the number of inspection points from the Krasnodar Territory will be increased.
At the same time, the department noted that the movement of cars and buses along the road part of the Crimean bridge in both directions is carried out as usual.
The Ministry of Transport of Russia earlier announced the resumption of car traffic on the Crimean bridge.
According to the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, there are no plans for long-term overlapping of the Crimean bridge due to repair and restoration work.
