The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“To put it bluntly: things are not going well in the OSCE.

The organization was created as a platform for equal dialogue and cooperation, but over the past few years it has been in the deepest crisis,” Lavrov stated.

Lavrov stressed that Western countries treat the OSCE as a tool through which they can advance their interests.

He added that Poland, which is currently chairing the organization, has reduced the effectiveness of the OSCE to zero.

Earlier, the director of the fourth European department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Yuri Pilipson, noted that during the OSCE chairmanship, Poland turned this platform into a toxic place to settle scores.
