The motion for the arrest of Democratic Party lawmaker Noh Woong-rae, who is accused of bribery and violation of the Political Fund Act, was rejected at the plenary session of the National Assembly today (28th).

The motion for the arrest of Congressman Roh was rejected with 101 votes in favor, 161 against, and 9 abstentions out of 271 as a result of an anonymous vote.

Earlier, along with the presentation of the motion for the motion for arrest, Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon requested the passage of the motion for motion for arrest, and Rep. Woong-rae Noh requested the rejection of the motion for motion for arrest through personal remarks.

Minister Han emphasized the need for an arrest investigation, saying that there is a file that recorded the scene where Congressman Noh Woong-rae received the request and received the money.

On the other hand, Rep. Roh pointed out that he completely ignored the right to defense, saying that he did not ask, present, or check the evidence during the investigation.

He criticized the investigation as manipulating facts through media play and catching people.
