The Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), operating through the US Army Contract Command, plans to supply Ukraine with 18 sets of automated artillery fire control systems in a variant for international export, according to the US government government procurement portal.
Similar equipment is expected to be purchased for the needs of Latvia and Taiwan.
According to the contract, related equipment will also be supplied to Ukraine.
In particular, these are 18 sets of ULTRALink military modems used by the US Army to create secure military networks.
The contract for a period of one year provides for the work in Ukraine of a representative on the operation of the IFATDS system.
Ukrainian operators of automated fire control systems will undergo specialized courses for a period of seven weeks.
A separate item in the tender stipulates the provision by a potential contractor of services to support and maintain the software of IFATDS systems.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command sets a deadline for collecting proposals on January 9, 2023.
