The parade of the Three Kings of Cádiz will not have the bear that went viral in 2022, but it will have an increase in investment to "renew" characters, increase the throwing of candies and "return to normality".

In the press conference to present this Christmas event, the Councilor for Culture and Festivals of Cádiz, Lola Cazalilla, has confirmed that none of the figures from last year's parade,

which became funny memes

and achieved dissemination throughout Spain, He will return to the ride.

"We will put all our love and effort to make it an unforgettable day for the girls and boys of Cádiz in the parade to return to normality, with which we will have floats, a great show going through the city and thousands of candies will fly", he defended cazalilla.

The mayor has thus definitively ruled out the recovery of the polar bear with a crooked neck, for which a collection of signatures has been organized to request his return.

The procession will be made up of nine floats and nine animation groups, with the names of

"Snowman", "Nutcracker", "Peppa Pig", "Universe", "Christmas Elves", "Cookies and chocolate house" , "Ardentia", "Super Mario" or "Swan Lake"

.

The City Council will launch 12,000 kilos of candies, to which will be added those donated by companies and entities, and will invest 156,000 euros in this parade, which is 15,000 more than in 2022.

It will be the recovery of the traditional parades in the Three Kings parades after the pandemic, after in 2021 it was done using static floats, or in 2022 it was prohibited to throw candy, which gave greater prominence to figures such as the polar bear.
